POSTPONED - The Grund Club Show

In collaboration with Rocklab, the Grund Club will return to the Rockhal in 2020 for a cycle of 4 seasonal shows! While all shows have a different theme and colour, their concept remains unchanged as they feature songs written by local singer-songwriters, which are each time performed by different artists, with the mighty Grund Club Band and other guest combos backing them up. The songs are transformed, re-interpreted, newly arranged and curated in a setlist that matches each show's theme. The new cycle of shows will stick to the Grund Club’s primary mission all while enhancing it with a wider sonic variety and including a new roster of up-and-coming exciting artists. For the first time, the shows will feature a unique acoustic pre-show acts and a host, making each Grund Club event a unique experience

The first Grund Club Show will take place on March 18 2020 at the Floor of the Rockhal. It will feature Grund Club all-stars such as Irina Holzinger, Kevin Heinen, Sarah Candle, Nelly Pereira and others. The show will also showcase Maxime Nemorin as the new inductee, but also  ÆM and Francis of Delirium, both winners of Rocklab's Screaming Fields Song Contest. The two young women will perform interpretations of each other's songs in a special musical faceoff, where ethereal dream pop will meet grungy songwriter vibes. Each performer will be supported by the Grund Club band, with special guests Paulo Simões on guitar and a horn section led by Ernie Hammes on trumpet. The host Paul Robert will guide the audience through this evening of musical entertainment
