How do I interpret a song? How do I capture and render its tone, atmosphere and meaning? How do I make my voice and performing style personal and expressive?
In an overview of styles, techniques and the coaching that brings more of your personality into your voice, this vocal interpretation workshop is aimed at intermediate and experienced performers.
Workshop overview:
• Vocal practice: learn the techniques that give your singing colour and differentiation
• Performance practice: use your body to give more presence and power to your performance style
• Listening and interpreting: get a feel for atmospheres, dynamic changes, phrasing and emotional expressivity
• Advanced vocal technique toolbox
The workshop is hosted by Serge Schonckert (Queen Swings! & INECC) and Marc Clement (Singer Hal Flavin).
Practical info
When & Where: Tuesdays from 19h30 to 21h30, starting on 21th of April 2015 for 10 hands-on sessions at M&R Rockhal.
Skill level: Intermediate and advanced! (from 15 years onwards)
