Vocal Basics (dedicated vocal technique workshop, rock, pop, jazz...)

Always wanted to be in control of your voice and take it to higher grounds? Always wanted to know more about the tools, that help you develop your voice? Improve your breathing technique, your enunciation as well as your hearing skills and get your timing and accuracy up to the job?

Here is where Vocal Basics comes in: during these 11 sessions, running 2 hours each, you will have the opportunity to enhance your vocal skills and explore the world of vocal performance.

Workshop overview :

• physical exercises : posture, relaxation, breathing and articulation


• vocal practice : understand how your voice works before you can develop it, vocal technique (rhythmic and melodic practice), diction, musical games for different musical genres

• musical practice : hearing test (pitch, tone colour, tempo…), rhythmical games, create an awareness for musical styles and arrangements

The workshop is hosted by vocal teacher Serge Schonckert from the "Institut Européen de Chant Choral Luxembourg".
