The Centre de musiques amplifiées - Rockhal launches an open call for the creation of its sound identity.

What is a sound identity?

A sound identity is a short melody or sound atmosphere that allows instant recognition of a brand or organisation.

Rockhal and Rocklab are therefore looking for a musical theme in the form of a jingle but which can also be developed, depending on its field of application (sound logo, signature tune for videos, answering machine, etc.).

Who can participate?

Artists, musicians, bands, composers, beatmakers, producers...

Participants must be Luxembourg nationals or residents.

Individuals as well as collectives (e.g. artist collective or band).

How to participate?

By filling in the online form below and sending the audio files to rocklab (at) before the deadline.

What formats must be respected?

The submitted ideas must be original and unpublished creations.

Participants must submit their proposal in at least two formats:

- short musical theme of 5 seconds max.

- example of the development of the musical theme of 30 seconds max.

The submitted piece can be a primary demo or a mixed and mastered version.

The audio file must be submitted in WAV or AIF format.

What’s the deadline?

The deadline for submitting the form and audio files is July 22 2020 at midnight.

What’s there to win?

The CMA will select one or more projects to be used in its communication activities. Among the candidates, a winner will be chosen, who will be allocated an amount of EUR 3,000 excluding VAT for the sound creation and who will be able to benefit from a creative residency at Rocklab in order to develop, record, mix, produce and finalise the submitted themes and pieces.
