24 Heures Electroniques 2018Concert, Workshop
The 24 Heures Electroniques are dedicated to the discovery and promotion of electronic music.
Creativity & discovery during the day:
This year's edition will start once again with a special programme for the young ones in the morning. Synth for Kids will allow children to build their own mini synthesizer and jam with it later on. In addition, they may also compose their own movie score, during Future Soundtrack, an interactive workshop dedicated to creating the music and sound effects for a sci-fi movie with the help of electronic instruments.
In the afternoon, Rocklab, in collaboration with Ableton, will host a presentation dedicated to the discovery of the new features and production tips & tricks on the newly updated music production software Live 10. Later on, ingenious producer Tim Exile will discuss influences, inspiration, production knacks and his own inventions during an artist talk, followed by the Apéro Electronique in collaboration with Vinyl Harvest, Esch's own vinyl store who will be present with a few crates of records and an eclectic DJ set. Finally a Production Battle will see fellow producers and beatmakers compete with each other and showcase their tracks & beats, with an Ableton Live 10 Suite awaiting the winner. And Rocklab's happy to welcome radio 100,7 once again for a live radio broadcast of the event!
An eclectic line-up at night:
The inventive Tim Exile and his Flow Machine will be headlining the bill, alongside Bétøn and Sonic Robots. The latter will allow its creator Moritz Simon Geist to present his newest invention: “Tripods One”, a futuristic robotic sound sculpture. Also on the line-up: up-and-coming local producer Mudaze and the 24H Lab, featuring producer DAS RADIAL and cellist André Mergenthaler, who will present their original creation live on stage for the first time.
