Screaming Fields
Luxembourg’s dedicated festival for young up-and-coming bands and artists will take place on the boutique open-air stage of Rockhal Garden this year! Expect a colourful line-up of Luxembourg’s young musical talent:

Following this month’s call for applications, launched by Rocklab, the organizer of the event, a selection committee composed of local promoters, music experts and Rockhal’s booking department had the difficult task to determine the final line-up among the many applications received. Reflecting the local music scene’s great diversity and current trends, the artists are ranging from hip-hop, over pop to thrash metal.
Following in the footsteps of former finalists such as Francis of Delirium, Maz, CHAILD or C’est Karma the 6 finalists will showcase a selection of their songs during the festival, in front of the general audience and professionals from the local music sector. A number of prizes will be awarded to the finalists, all aimed at developing their projects, skills and providing further opportunities:
Rocklab Package
Awarded by Rocklab and consisting of a follow-up programme and select counseling sessions as well as a live video shooting
Songwriter Package
Awarded by The Grund Club Luxembourg and consisting of a songwriting workshop and invitation to one of the Club’s live shows
Gig Opportunities at one of the events organized by Screaming Fields’ Live Partners Den Atelier, De Gudde Wëllen, Kulturfabrik, Neimënster, Rotondes, Trifolion Echternach, Ville de Dudelange

About Screaming Fields:
Screaming Fields, organized by Rockhal’s Rocklab, is an annual support programme dedicated to scouting, accompanying and promoting young up-and-coming artists from Luxembourg’s music scene, encompassing pop, rock, electronic music, metal and hip-hop. The Festival aims at encouraging young performers’ first steps in live music, whereas the Song Contest is the perfect launch hub for talented songwriters, beatmakers and bedroom producers. Former Screaming Fields talent includes Francis of Delirium, Maz, CHAILD, Tuys or C’est Karma.
SCREAMING FIELDS SONG CONTEST
Le Screaming Fields Song Contest entre dans sa quatrième édition ! Le concours a pour but de donner aux jeunes auteurs-compositeurs-interprètes, aux groupes et aux producteurs en herbe l'occasion de mettre en valeur leur créativité et de la partager avec un public plus large.
Quel que soit votre style - pop, rock, hip hop, musique électronique, métal - si vous êtes un artiste luxembourgeois, âgé entre 12 et 25 ans, vous pouvez soumettre votre démo et votre idée de chanson sur le thème de cette année : « I want to break free ! »
Un jury composé d'experts de musique locaux, d'artistes et de partenaires médias déterminera la meilleure chanson originale.
Le gagnant du concours recevra un Artist Package lui permettant de transformer son idée initiale en un single abouti et de le partager avec un public plus large. Le package comprend des sessions d'enregistrement avec un producteur confirmé, un clip vidéo et une campagne de promotion pour la sortie de la chanson.
